How To Prune Your Garden Fruit Tree

Basic Of Pruning

  • Prune often or around the season coming into Autumn
  • Aim for an umbrella shape
  • Use both types of shears for cutting both higher and lower branches
  • Keep the tree fruit within easy reach for picking

Basics of Using the Garden Hoe

  • Use garden Hoe once a week or every 10 days if possible

  • Start by loosening the first half inch of top soil

  • Leave the underneath intact for the root of your plants to take root and grow

  • This also allows rain to soak through to the roots

  • Weed root is used as a natural fertilizer and top half rots back into soil.
