Indigofera is a hardy, deciduous shrub with pinnate green leaves and pink-purple flowers in late summer. Plant in a sheltered, full sun position in well drained but moist soil.

Prune back any old wood stems and crossing branches in spring. Great for herbaceous borders and works well with roses and buddleia.

Grows to2.5m height and spread. The pollen rich flowers are loved by the bees.
