Cupido is an easy, evergreen, rounded, compact shrub with lanced shaped leaves that are dark and glossy, red to orange when young.

The buds are red-brown in Autumn and winter opening to white urn shaped flowers in the spring. Plant in partial shade or full sun but does need shelter from cold winter winds.

Cupido can reach 1.2m in height and spread over 10-20 years. Plant in an acid soil Ericaceous soil, but must moist and well drained.
